An audience with the lord...

It's no secret that I love the handmade toys from Suckadelic. Managed to drop by at Suckadelic H.Q. for some local pick ups and rare colorways today. Love the Mary Paper$ japanese version inc. Murakami LV pattern. But the real bomb is this crazy rare Spooky Booty colorway... Sweet! Keep your eyes peeled for new Band of the Lost toys coming soon...

Doktor A... master customizer!

To be honest... I am not a big fan of toy customizing and prefer the artists original vision over the custom ( especially KAWS customs just hurt my eyes... ). But Doktor A is doing crazy stuff, transforming even the dullest toys with amazing detailing into steampunk masterpieces.

Made in China... Hong Kong Designer!
Wow, now this is a weird toy! Got this egghead today straight outta Greece! The whole thing was packaged in this awsome egg box. Never seen this before and it's so underground... the website isn't even in English...
" Molder is a human-like figure that we first drew when we were little kids. It consists of a big head and a fine body. Do you remeber him?
Molder is not faceless. He is the 1st doll we drew, his happy face is in our mind same as our dreams.
With him we can continue our dreams now and forever."
Yaaayyy!
P.S: It's still a bit disturbing tho... :P

Here comes the Kuns!

Dropped today for Gold members at the Amos online store. Now, this isn't the most pretty figure ever, still this mutant will grow on a lot of people over time. Only 160 pieces of each colorway available in good ol' Europe.
From Amos:
For many years Amos have been friends with Japanese toy makers, Bounty Hunter. The friendship dates back to the days when BxH helped Silas create the original Martin figure, the very first James Jarvis figure, released in 1998.
Bounty Hunter kingpin Hikaru and Waterman bonded over their love of punk rock, in particular the Third Wave of UK bands such as Discharge. So when it became time to celebrate 10 years of making toys, who better to ask than the original rockers of the modern vinyl toy revolution. And thanks to former Discharge drummer Garry Maloney, the deal between Amos and BxH was cemented through the exchange of original band memorabilia.
We celebrated our ten years of toy making by combining the two single most iconic characters from each company. Bounty Hunter’s Skull Kun, and Amos’ King Ken. The result is King Kun with one colourway to represent the punk rock attitude of Hikaru, and the other a homage to Jarvis’s original King Ken.

The KAWS JPP
Damn, totally slept on this one. Thanks to the KAWS newsletter I got reminded by Mister Donnelly that I should get up tomorrow to cop this thing. I am a great fan of Pipo-Kun... just in Japan the cops can have such a sweet mascot!
*edit: yellow version in the bag, black version already sold out, and that 20min BEFORE the shizzl should be available online. I love glitches in the matrix :)*

Meet my new friend
A bit busy catching all my fave artists live at the moment. Looks like everyone is in town: UNKLE, Lupe Fiasco and tomorrow the might Wu Tang Clan! So it's all about more drinks and less blogging!
Just so everyone is not bored... meet my new friend Womax! Another great Michael Lau toy that took me awhile to hunt down.
He will keep you company until I am back from bouncing around infront of a random stage in London...

KAWS 4ft Companion.

Every time one of these big boys drop, the geek within me dies a little bit. Will I have 3000$ in my pocket when the inevitable black version drops? I doubt it *sob*
