How PLAYA is this: Chilling at Pictoplasma in Berlin AND being part of an exhibit in the same city at the same time. Thanks again to Frau Fleischer to sort all this out and for everyone for coming down!

Mark Gonzales exhibition at the dpmhi gallery in London

Now open at the dpmhi gallery, this exhibition features new paintings alongside an installation of 1000 Megga America Priest figures. Must say I've never been the biggest fan of Mark Gonzales figures but the display looks damn impressive!

850 Priests have been fully hand customised and painted whilst just 50 of each of the original three colourways have been left plain. Mark hand engraved each and every single figure (including the 150 unpainted versions) with the edition number and a signature, ensuring that no two Priests are the same. Plans are also underway to publish a book featuring photographs of each individual figure, so as to fully document Mark's creative process.

Isabelle Metaxa Exhibit in San Francisco

Isabelle creates jewellery with an intention to provoke, play and lure.
With attention to detail for unique fastenings upon the body and combination of materials, the jewellery
is extraordinarily hip and personal.

Her work has been seen in exhibitions and exclusive jewellery boutiques in London,
San Francisco, Barcelona, Athens and Munich.

She often uses type on precious metals as well as rubber, anodized aluminium and magnets just to name a few of the materials.

Orders can be made upon request and web site is to follow...

Expo:

From November 1 - December 31 2006

Velvet Da Vinci, 2015 Polk Street
San Francisco, CA 94109

London Games Festival and Greenfuzz

Wow my first 'mobile' post as I am away from the office at the London Games Festival, enjoying talks and sandwiches in the heart of the city! After this will be a screening by the onedotzero possee at the incredible Prince Charles Cinema. Hope I can squeeze in a cold pint inbetween both activities... hehe!

Anyway, the real news is that on my visit to Playlounge in the break during talks I spotted the second edition of 'Tales from Greenfuzz' and I'd like to urge everyone to get a copy... Will Sweeny's artwork is just mindblowing!

GraphiXXXs

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Coming out in a month or so is the second edition of GRAFUCK.

They said: "Grafuck is a new anthology of erotic art created by a diverse group of international artists.". I say: Style and Tits are always a good mix, fun to create and my obsession since I was a little boy. So its good to see this subject matter breaking into the design scene alongside INSA'S Grafiiti Fetish postcards and high heel patterns and other smut peddlers with MAC's and a graf and/or design background. Looks like I can put out my own antique collection of highschool scribbles after all... hehehe...
